This portrait series address the idea of fame; focusing on the difference between the person and his or her persona. This portrait series questions when the audience has a greater familiarity with the subject, does the audience have less of an ability to connect with the subject. In other words, the greater the exposure of the person, the more shallow the interpretation? These black and white ink drawings challenge the ideas of the individual versus the icon.
